What is The Sandbox For Kids?
We’re an indoor sensory play space designed for children up to age 10. With real sand, engaging toys, and creative zones, our goal is to spark imagination while offering parents a safe, relaxing space.

You’ll find us in the Regency Plaza at:

We offer free parking and stroller-friendly access.
Is the sand safe for kids?
Absolutely. Our sand is raked, sanitized, and filtered daily. We use Baha Play Sand—silica-free, non-toxic, dust-free, and allergy-friendly. It’s sourced through our partnership with Calcean Minerals & Materials.
What age group is The Sandbox For Kids for?
Our space is best suited for children up to 10 years old
Crawlers, toddlers, and preschoolers will find the space perfect for their developmental stage.
Can I drop off my child?
Do parents need to stay in the play area?
Yes. Please stay close to your child while they are in the play zone.
Do I need to book in advance?
The Sandbox for Kids is first-come, first-served for open play—no reservations required.
For parties, events, and groups, we have private rooms available for rental.
How do I book a party?
We have private party space available for rental so you can enjoy a hassle-free party experience! Our private rooms are able to accommodate up to 20 children.

Can I host a private event outside of birthday parties?
How much does open play admission cost?
General Admission/Open Play Pricing:
1st child = $12 for 1st hour
2nd+ child = $9 for 1st hour
$6 for each additional hour per child. No charge for adults.
Private Party Pricing:
2-hour party, up to 10 kids—Weekday pricing starts at $225; Weekend pricing starts at $275
Additional children can attend, up to 20, at $20 per additional child and payable at check-in on the day of your party.
Do you offer memberships or punch passes?
Yes. Monthly memberships are be available.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept both cash and major credit/debit cards for your convenience.
How do I cancel my membership?
To cancel your membership, log in to your account at The Sandbox for Kids Membership Dashboard.
Once you’re logged in:
- Click the Cancel Membership button.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear.
- Click Cancel Membership again in the pop-up to confirm your cancellation.
Your membership will be canceled immediately after confirmation.
How often is the sand cleaned?
Our sand is filtered and treated daily to ensure a clean, hygienic play environment. Toys and surfaces are sanitized regularly.
Do kids need socks or shoes?
We do not allow socks or shoes in the sand.
Accomodations will be made for our friends with sensory or special needs.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every guest must complete a waiver before playing. Sign your waiver online to save time when you arrive.

Can we bring our own toys?
No. The Sandbox for Kids asks that you not bring your toys from home, as we have plenty of toys to go around!
Accomodations will be made for our friends with sensory or special needs.
Can we bring our own food?
Yes! However, please do not bring in cake, cupcakes, ice cream, or party-style refreshments for open play.
For parties, hosts are welcome to bring in food (such as cake, cupcakes, or ice cream!), drinks, and decorations for the private room that has been reserved.
*Please do not bring food or beverages directly into the play zone. We want to keep the sandbox clean for everyone!
What kind of coffee do you serve?
We proudly serve Toledo’s own Actual Coffee, offering brewed drinks, espresso, and specialty lattes.
Do you sell food or drinks?
Yes! We have coffee, sodas, juice, snacks, and candy available for purchase.
